Features of 8-core Huawei Kirin 980 processor

Also, according to speculation, Huawei will use its own graphics processing unit (GPU) in the Kirin 980 processor. The Huawei GPU is said to perform 1.5 times better than the Adreno 630 GPU in the Snapdragon 845 processor.

According to estimates, the first smart phones to be powered by Huawei’s new Kirin 980 processor will be Huawei Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro, which will be launched on the market in the last quarter of the year.
