Approximately a week ago, according to notifications made by Korean LG V20 users, the devices began receiving Android 8.0 Oreo updates.
After the LG V20 models in Korea last week started getting updates, the LG V20 models based on American operator provider Sprint are also getting the Android Oreo update respectively. Previously in July a device that receives a security update will thus be promoted to the Oreo operating system.
Unlike the other LG V20 devices that are connected to Sprint, they are getting a bit of updates a little later. For this reason, users who are delaying the current update need to check their settings in the settings section of their device to see the OTA update, respectively.
If the new update occurs under normal conditions, the device reports this to the user with a notification, but in some cases, the update date and time and the time that the device checks the server may be delayed. For this reason, it is useful to check the updates occasionally manually.
Finally, the LG V20 is going to be getting an update for Android P, but for this operating system version, it may have to wait a bit longer for others. The LG V20 users in our country are expected to get the Android 8.0 Oreo update as soon as possible.
