Nokia 3 now accepts Android 9 updates with Maya Android security patches


Unlike other smartphone brands on the market, HMD Global makes every effort to provide software updates for its Nokia smartphones in a timely manner. This software update includes a three-year security patch and two major updates for the Android operating system. And not only for middle-class Nokia phones, but also for the latest Android versions, which are compatible with new Nokia phones. Now, the company has released Android 9 Pie for a cheap Nokia 2 2 year smartphone.

According to HMD Troika, Global Chief Product Officer of Juho Sarvikas, the Nokia 3 smartphone, launched in 2017 as part of Android One, is now available for Android 9.0 Pie. He also pointed to the fact that the company had kept its promise to provide Android updates for two years.

With Android 9.0 Pie, the Nokia 3 receives many new features and changes that accompany the software. As a screenshot of the Nokia 3 user screen, updates include new system navigation, revised settings and notifications, adjustable batteries, adjustable brightness, and Android Android security patches for May.

The Android 9 Pie update for the Nokia 3 is now in circulation (Airborne, OTA) and will be available on all devices in the coming days.
