Spotify, one of today’s most popular online music listening platforms, comes with Siri integration. You can now ask Siri to play a song on Spotify, especially in the latest beta version of the app.
Spotify, one of the world’s most listened online music platforms, has the ability to play songs, albums and playlists via Siri. This feature is available with the latest beta version of Spotify. As part of Apple’s innovations with iOS 13, different music platforms such as Spotify will benefit from Siri as well as Apple Music.
Together with the new feature, you’ll be able to ask Siri to play a song from Spotify. This feature will not be available on Apple’s wearable devices, such as the Apple Watch, which doesn’t have the Spotify app on the iPhone. When tried on Apple Watch, Siri will warn you, “Sorry, I can’t do this on Apple Watch.” It is not yet known whether HomePod can work with Spotify, but there are not many possibilities.
The Spotify and Siri integration also works well on Apple’s AirPods. After commanding “Hey Siri Spot, you can request albums, songs or playlists via Spotify. It’s not that smooth if the system is about podcasts. When you try to search for a specific podcast, a song search is performed instead of a podcast.
This feature, which is currently in beta version, is likely to come into practice in the coming weeks. So what do you think about Siri and Spotify integration? Is it really a handy feature? You can share your ideas and thoughts with us in the comments section.
